And a few more from thismorning…..

I thought I would document my photos from this challenge,  its a challenge that quite a few photography friends and online friends are doing.  The goal is to take a photo a day for the month of January.   I also had fun doing this last year and based it on family or something to do with family.  Which is what I am going to do again this year.   These photos will document our day to day life for the month.  Its fun and its a chance to be creative, silly, candid or posed.   So I decided to share the challenge photos on my blog for my blog readers to (hopefully) enjoy!

January 1 - Dylan sleeping at 4am.  After a few blow horns going off out front of our house at 2am Dylan woke with no intention of going back to sleep.  So just before 4am I finally coaxed him back to bed with Carlie’s my little pony and soon after went to bed myself to find him cuddling the MLP.

January 2 - My latest craving….is chocolate freckles.  Hubby went out to the shops that morning and asked if I wanted anything but realised he asked a silly question and he knew the answer!!!!!!    The only thing is hte girls adore them too….here’s Tayla’s eyes watching over my stash of freckles!!!

January 3 - My 4 in action.  Not the planned photo for today as It was going to be a nice one of me and the kids sitting on the bed (which I got a new quilt that morning)  but while setting up the shot the kids decided on a pillow fight with my new pillows and cushion!!!

January 4 -  We took the kids to the Adelaide Zoo thismorning before the hot weather kicked in.  The kids loved the giraffe’s.    Jordan is reptile mad so he had a blast in the reptile ‘cave’.   The girls wanted to see the penguins and Dylan was happy to see anything but did get excited and kept repeating the words monkey, turtle and ‘nake’ (snake)! 

My last post for the year!!   So I thought I’d make it a fun family post.

This afternoon I took the kids to the Adelaide Botanic Gardens for a run around and also wanted to get some photos of Carlie in her new pettiskirt.    Which is available from http://www.princessratbag.com/  clients are more than welcome to have their daughters photographed in the skirts I have depending in what sizes i have available.  I currently have solid red,  black/aqua/brown both in toddler sizes.   I also have 3 pink ones coming in  3 sizes.

And here’s a quick shot of my four…….when I managed to get them to sit still long enough to attempt a shot of all 4 together!   And as you can see running round for 2 hours at the gardens tired them out!  

By the time we got home Daddy had set up the dining table with party food and gear ready for a mini kids party,  we had no idea he had this planned and now we understood why he said he didnt want to come to the gardens with us thisafternoon!!  As soon as it was dark enough the kids were keen to head outside with sparklers and  I managed to capture some fun shots.    This first one is Tayla’s attempt at a love heart!

Today I met up with another wonderful family at their home and had a fantastic time photographing them all.  Thank you Jo and to your family for having me,  it was lovely meeting you all……I will finding myself proofing your session with a certain song in my head now :)  It certainly worked to get little Zach’s attention

Fabulous and Fun are definately 2 words to describe this family.  They were such a delight to photograph and i thoroughly enjoyed this session.   I caught up with them at Bashams Beach on the Fleurieu Peninsula early thisevening and from then the fun began!    We had such a relaxed and casual photo shoot and it ended with something i wasnt expecting, well to date I’ve not had a session end like it lol!!  But really shows what a fun and spontaneous family they are!!!  Thanks for the laughs guys and I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!!!!

Wow only 5 days til xmas!!!!  And I thought I’d do a quick blog entry to wish all my clients and blog readers a very Merry Christmas.  Although I might be back with one more blog entry before xmas.

Santa arrived early for me bringing me some new lenses to play with (one of them being a macro lens hence my photo above using a xmas bauble from our tree lol) and since I am on a weeks holiday for the xmas break I thought I would get my girls to sit for some pics.   Cant wait til boxing day when my next session is to really use my new toys!

Today my 3rd child, Carlie turns 4! We celebrated with a party on Saturday so today was just a small celebration but it started early with Carlie going into each room and loudly whispering ‘wake up, its my birthday’!  I took a few quick photos today of her in a new handmade outfit from  Becci and her daughter Emily (and happy 4th birthday to Emily for today too)   Becci’s blog is at http://lolliegirl.blogspot.com/  Thanks again Bec for her birthday gifts!

I spent a lovely afternoon with this young couple at the beach.   The weather was perfect and Caitlin and Mark were fabulous models!  Heres a preview of your session guys and I will be in contact with you both shortly.  I hope you enjoyed your dinner afterwards too

Thismorning I met up with Katie, Martin and their beautiful little boy Thomas and also Katie’s parents Pam and Bruce who have made a special trip to Australia from England to meet their new grandson.
